So, since I'm taking this off Facebook, I believe I can opinionatilyze more freedomly. Do you wanna know who one of the best damn modern directors is? This guy.

Guillermo del Toro is one of the greatest thriller-genre directors of this era. He's not a run-of-the-mill "IMMA JUMP UP AND MAKE YOU SHIT YOUR PANTS" type of director. No, no, no. This man is a man of suspense. He has two killer hits that everybody should see, Pan's Labyrinth, and El Orfanato. These movies are fucking fantastic, do you know why? Because del Toro is a visionary. These plots are enthralling and will have you on the edge of your seat until the ending twist which in the last fifteen minutes will go from pure terror to a heartwarming conclusion.

This guy is brilliant, watch his fucking movies.

Okay, family and friends (and weird people I can find on sex offender websites,) I caved to your demands and created a blog for my rants and raves. Presumably, you did this so I'd quit bitching on your Facebooks, stirring up controversy while embarrassing you. However, I will pretend to have no notion of that previous thought (sentence?) and will instead, choose to believe that you enjoyed hearing from me so much that you thought I should share my brilliance and ego (though it is true - my ego is the biggest on this side of the mountains). Food for thought: It's not narcissism if I really am that awesome.
